This qualification enables the learner to develop a knowledge and understanding of substance misuse awareness - including alcohol - and its potential effects on individuals and others.

This course will require the learner to commit to self study hours in order to complete the assessments. This qualification is assessed via a mandatory workbook, which is internally assessed and externally quality assured. Assessments must be completed in the agreed timescale and submitted to the assessor who will then provide feedback, advice and guidance, and, additional support where needed.
