Course Details

Mandatory Units: Health and Safety in the Salon Understand the importance of maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment. Client Consultation for Hair Services Learn how to assess client needs and provide tailored advice. Shampoo and Condition the Hair and Scalp Master techniques for cleansing and preparing hair for styling. Cut Hair Using Barbering Techniques Develop skills in various cutting methods to achieve desired styles. Cut Facial Hair Gain expertise in trimming and shaping beards and moustaches. Style Hair Using Barbering Techniques Learn to create and finish hairstyles using appropriate tools and products. Promote Products and Services Understand how to effectively recommend products and services to clients. Fulfil Salon Reception Duties Acquire skills in managing appointments, handling payments, and maintaining client records. Optional Units (may include): Colour and Lighten Hair Techniques for adding colour to men's hair. Perm and Neutralise Hair Methods for creating and setting curls. Plait and Twist Hair Styling techniques for textured hair. Temporarily Attach Hair to Enhance a Style Use of hairpieces and extensions for styling purposes.
