The Level 2 Certificate in Occupational Studies for the Workplace builds on the skills gained at Level 1 and develops your knowledge, understanding and practical ability in a range of vocational areas. The course is flexible and allows you to explore different sectors while gaining the transferable skills that employers value. It is ideal if you want to prepare for employment, an apprenticeship or further study.

What will I learn? How is it assessed? Portfolio of evidence made up of coursework and practical activities Assessed by your tutor throughout the course No final exam

Ideally completion of a Level 1 qualification (such as Level 1 Occupational Studies) or equivalent experience A positive attitude to learning and commitment to the course Initial assessment in English and maths may be required

Equipment needed Basic stationery (pens, paper, folder) Any specialist equipment is usually provided for vocational units
