Work Ready Level 1

If you are undecided on your future or we don�t offer the course that meets your career goals then our Work Ready courses will offer you real life experience in a setting of your choice, while at the same time allowing you to upskill and work towards qualifications that will support your future career requirements.

This course will help you decide on your career goals with a dedicated programme focused on employability and careers-related learning which is supplemented by a work experience placement. The programme offers an opportunity for young people to raise their aspirations, improve confidence and motivation, whilst learning skills that are relevant to further study, employment and personal development. Some of the modules you will study are: � Preparation for work � Job seeking skills � Skills for independent life � Building a personal career portfolio � Recognising volunteering opportunities

You will be required to complete a range of written assignments and build portfolios. You will also be required to demonstrate some skills whilst being observed by your tutor.
