Course Details

The course provides the introductory knowledge and understanding to enable you to support the functional activities of a business. If you are aiming for a career in business administration or want to work in retail, marketing, finance, human resources, sales or customer service then this is a good place to start. The course develops practical skills in areas such as personal development, team working, market research, branding, presentation techniques, running an event, recording income and expenditure and more.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

You will be continually assessed throughout the course by way of assignments, practical activities and observations carried out by your tutor.

Entry requirements

2 GCSEs at grade E-G (new grades 1-2) or relevant Entry Level qualification

Equipment required

A Level 1 Diploma in Business provides a good basis and general taste of the skills required towards a pathway into a business, retail or administrative career.
