Course Details

The BTEC Level 3 Foundation Diploma & Extended Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science offers a comprehensive exploration of the dynamic fields of sport and exercise science, designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and industry insights essential for success in this burgeoning sector. Working with P3rform throughout the course offers students access to industry expertise, cutting-edge facilities, and real-world experiences that enrich their educational journey. There are a number of visits throughout the course which are carefully curated to align with the current areas of study, providing students with first-hand exposure to industry practices and fostering valuable insights into the application of theoretical knowledge in real-world contexts.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Learners are assessed throughout the duration of the course using a variety of methods, including assignments, presentations, case studies and other projects. Two exams in EACH year of study(January and May). Learners will receive regular feedback on their assignments and progress is monitored throughout the course. The qualification is graded at pass, merit and distinction.

4 GCSEs grade 4 (C) or above (must include GCSE English/maths).
