T Level in Healthcare (Supporting Adult Nursing)

This course will enable you to gain the skills and knowledge that will give you access to numerous opportunities in the health professions sector. The course combines classroom based theory with an extensive work placement element that will support you to make well informed choices about your future career aspirations. You will learn how to undertake a variety of clinical tasks including physiological measurements and how to interpret the results. You will practice these skills working alongside professionals on your work placement.

You will be assessed through written and practical examinations, employer projects, group work, presentations and analysis.� You will also be observed and assessed in the workplace.

You'll need a minimum of five GCSEs at grade 5 or above, including maths and English Language, in subjects that are relevant to the course you'd like to study. In addition to this, you'll also need a grade 5 or above in Science.

On completion of the T-Level you may wish to pursue employment opportunities, such as an ambulance assistant, health care or senior health care assistant and the extensive placement element will provide you with valuable experience that will be attractive to many potential employers. You may decide to apply for higher education and qualify as a nurse, operating theatre practitioner or radiographer.
