The AAT Level 2 qualification is one of the most common starting points traditionally for those who are working, or aim to work, in an accounting role in practice or industry.If you do not wish to take the full Level 2 AAT qualification, you can complete just the bookkeeping and/or computerised accounting modules and achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping and/or the Level 2 Award in Computerised Accounting. You can choose whether to study in the evening or during the day.Students will also learn about accountancy related business and personal skills and be introduced to the four key themes embedded in the qualification: ethics, technology, communications and sustainability.You'll be taught by our qualified and skilled staff who will share their industrial knowledge and experience to you. You will need four GCSEs graded between 4-9; including English Language and Maths to study this course. Other equivalent qualifications may be considered and there are exemptions for further applicants with relevant workplace experience.

You can progress on to the AAT Diploma in Accounting Level 3 course at the college. You may start a job in the field of Accounting or start as a trainee accountant.
