Course Details
This programme is designed to cater for the budding Electrician who wants a predominantly practical experience and who is looking to progress to the workplace. The aim of the programme is to provide you with a range of practical engineering/electrical work skills. This qualification is required if you wish to advance to the Advanced Apprenticeship in Electrotechnical at Level 3 or to the Full-time Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation at Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group.�
How will it be delivered and assessed?
Throughout the programme you will be continually assessed and monitored by fully qualified assessors who will look at your work, observe your performance and test your knowledge and constantly provide additional support and feedback which will enable your achievement. During this time you will be required to build up a portfolio of evidence of achievement.
Entry requirements
As a condition of being offered a place on this course, you would be expected to meet the following entry requirements:Submit a school report showing your attendance, behaviour and effort detailsYou will need to achieve/have achieved GCSEs at grade 4 or above in Maths and a grade 3 or above in English Language.
