VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Beauty Therapy

The VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Beauty Therapy is a vocationally related qualification that will prepare you to gain employment as an advanced senior beauty therapist.��The units in this qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role. You must be over 18 years old for entry on to this qualification and already have a beauty therapy qualification at level 3.

The VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Beauty Therapy is a vocationally related qualification that will prepare you to gain employment as an advanced senior beauty therapist.�The units in this qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role.This is a vocational qualification, which builds on your beauty therapy skills to allow you to develop an enhanced repertoire of advanced specialist beauty therapy techniques to prepare you for employment as an advanced senior beauty therapist. The advanced techniques covered include:�laser and light treatments for hair removal.laser and light treatments for skin rejuvenation.microdermabrasion techniques.you will also gain knowledge and understanding of the chemistry of hair & beauty products, dermatology and microbiology, physiology of ageing, management of health, safety and security in the salon, quality management of client care, salon management and public relations in the hair and beauty sector.

Delivery will be in college 2 days a week, Monday and Tuesday for an academic year.You will need to devote some time to self-study, revision for two externally set exams and assignment work.�Assessments will be done on clients, in our purpose built treatment rooms at Stafford College, which are based within the beauty department.

You must be over 18 years old for entry on to this qualification and already have a beauty therapy qualification at Level 3.

This qualification will qualify you to gain employment as an advanced senior beauty therapist.
